The rediscovery and use of local stone in construction, craftsmanship and land management lies at the heart of the Interegg PAESALP Project: Alpine Landscapes – Traces of Stone, Community Ties between Italy and Switzerland. Dr. Marta Caroselli has been appointed Head of SUPSI’s two degree programmes in Conservation and Restoration as of 1 January 2026: the Bachelor of Arts in Conservation and the Master of Arts in Conservation-Restoration. She succeeds professor Giacinta Jean.
In 2025, 1,375 students successfully completed their course of study at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). Of these, 974 obtained a Bachelor’s degree, 375 a Master’s degree, and 26 a Diploma awarded by the DFA/ASP in the field of teaching at upper secondary schools.
As part of the Bachelor of Arts SUPSI in Visual Communication, the students of the course “Video and social strategies” conceived and produced promotional videos dedicated to several film locations. A project born from the collaboration with the Ticino Film Commission (TFC).
